Iziane Castro Marques scored a career-high 20 points and Betty Lennox added 18, leading the Seattle Storm to their third straight victory, beating the New York Liberty 87-78 on Tuesday night.

Storm Surge Past Liberty

The Storm used a 26-4 run to overcome an early deficit and pull away on their way to Tuesday’s 87-78 victory over the visiting Liberty. Seattle, which led by as many as 24 and withstood a late run from New York, was paced by 20 points from Iziane Castro Marques. Betty Lennox added 18 points and Janell Burse posted 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Storm, who have won three straight. Lauren Jackson scored 10 before leaving with an injury.
